    Played in three games before sitting out the season with an injury and ultimately taking a redshirt.

Before MSU

    Led Holly Springs to the Mississippi 3A state tournament championship game where they finished runner up.
    Helping HSHS to 23 wins in the 2017-18 season, he scored 26.3 points per game to go with 7.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals.
    Scored 816 points in 31 games as a senior.
    Was an 80 percent free-throw shooter and had a game against Lake Cormorant where he was 15-of-15 and ended with 47 points.
    Scored a career-high 50 points against Palmer.
    Had nine games of 30 or more points in 2017-18.
    Finished as the all-time leading scoring at Holly Springs with 2,788 points.
    He surpassed Clevin Hannah (2003-06) who had 2,300 points and went on to play at Wichita State.
    Named to the Daily Journal All-Area Team after the season. This team is drawn from more than 50 high schools in north Mississippi.
    Named to the Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen as one of the top 12 players in the state in the preseason.
    Was named to the Clarion Ledger All-State Team.
    Was a four-time Mississippi All-State selection.
    He was selected to play in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game, where he scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds.
    Led his team to the Mississippi State Tournament in four-straight seasons.
    Was his class president.
